About

Steven Damron

I’m an American who moved to Barcelona on the first day of the new decade. I barely moved into an apartment before the Covid-19 pandemic hit.

While in isolation, I’m finishing my second novel, Dear Mustafa. After that, and hopefully after isolation, I plan to write Trans Librarian Saves Planet and The Confidence Man. I’ll tell you about those over a glass of vermut sometime.

I have worked with Internet and computer startups most of my career. I have a double major in Physics and English from Dartmouth College, studied violin at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music, and snagged an MBA from UC Berkeley Haas School of Business. My interests include reading, writing, music, art, film, theater, cooking, hiking, and biking.

I wrote about starting Covid Diary here. I blogged for 100 days in a row when the pandemic started. I’m currently blogging weekly. For more frequent updates, check my tweets.

Fun fact: my name is an anagram for random events, stamen vendor, and demon servant. Go figure.
